Mold Specifications and Terms Info

Here you will find some mold terms and specifications defined here. 

Wheelbase: How long the front and back wheels of your fingerboard rest. Measured from the outer mounting holes from one end to the other. Typically 58mm is the standard wheelbase length for most fingerboards.

Concave: Curve in the middle of the board. Can be done like a smooth parabola or angled.

Dips: Transition from concave to kick, can be smooth or defined.

Kicktail concave: Concave in the kicks. Can be the same as the overall board concave or a completely different value.

Kick Height: How steep the kicks on a fingerboard bend, measured in degrees. (19-26 degrees is the usual range, higher degree means steeper kicks)

Kick Length: How long the kicks are. Affects the overall length of your board.
